I.
It is late. Let us not be seen. In the growing shade of this old oak tree we meet as we have so often met. We used to play hide and seek here. Two kittens, barely conscious. Things have changed. I don't know how or why. But I know that I don't want to hide anymore. I don't want to seek. All I want is to be found. I long to know you in so many ways.

II.
Oh, how I long to touch your hand. You are closer to me now than any god could ever be. Your face so close to my face. Your breath so close to my breath. Your smile so close to my smile. And all I can say is that this is perfect. This is all I'll ever need.

III.
Oh, your rosy breasts, barely visible in the soft moonlight. She shines on you, she smiles knowingly down at you. At these ripples in your breath, these ripples in your body. Oh, let me map this mortal, pore by pore. Let me map this soul.

IV.
Your breath is steadying, your eyes twinkle as they meet mine. Let me keep this fleeting moment. Time may pass. This feeling won't. Your warm breath on my lips will linger there forever, even when my own lips turn cold.

V.
I know you now, love. I know you and I always will.

Damask, vermilion, jasper.
Touch.
A million voices:
Not enough;
rhyme or treason,
sympathy breeds reason -
do you trust?
Me?
Touch?
